Sustainability 

At Blue Donkey we pride ourselves in truly being all about sustainable ingredients and products. We reuse all our brewed coffee grinds and use it as a compost in our home organic garden. (It makes perfect compost!) In addition, by working with local vendors and roasting coffee ourselves we reduce the carbon footprint by minimizing transportation costs. We also strive to work only with recyclable packaging and are researching 100% biodegradable materials for our coffee bags and K-Cups.  

 

Direct - Trade

For several of our origin coffees we have a long term relationship directly with the coffee farmers. In Honduras we work with Greg Hines who is part of Frontline Missions. Greg is building his own house in the coffee mountains of Honduras to
